Post-Graduation Goals

I have many goals personally so to keep them organized, balanced, and achievable I condense them to three main goals at a time and set myself a "course of action".

My Main Goals:

Education

Its important to me to not rush right into my career. Though I believe you can be successful in this type of career without school, in my eyes it builds far more credibility when you have a diploma and a few years under your belt.

Helping Others

After being home for so long post quarantine I told myself that I would always make an active effort to help those around me whenever possible.

Striving

My last goal is not to make my career my life. I want to enjoy other hobbies and travel when possible, I want to avoid feeling stuck and unhappy in my job.

Course of Action for My Goals:

For my goal of education, I am currently attending Georgia State university to get my bachelor's degree in business management in order to not only further my education but make it easier to achieve my career as well. I also plan to work during my time at GSU in order to build my professional skills as well as my academic and create connections in my field. I can achieve my goal of helping others by constantly staying involved in the community with volunteer work, and helping my friends and peers with school and work. This will allow me to meet more people and develop my interpersonal skills as well. For my final goal of enjoying other hobbies, I have started to make planning my week and scheduling events a priority to give myself a good school work and life balance. This is particularly important since I am planning to work during college as well.
