My Extra - Curricular Activities:
I participated in the fencing club several years throughout my high school career. It was a small club at the time and it has since grown large even though I am currently on hiatus. I enjoyed fencing even though I held no particular office it often helped me to learn good sportsmanship and build relationships with other team members.
I also participated in a DND club at our high school. This allowed me to explore creativity and working with others in a collaborative world building environment that I enjoy to this day. It has helped me with conflict resolution and other interpersonal skills throughout my high school career
I participated in a program called "Panther Leap" at my college. It is a program that teaches us essential skills in becoming an RA or other housing positions at the college.
I have participated in an art topic course for each year of my high school career. For the first two years of high school I even participated in art club. These programs I would use to apply my skills in the creations of decorations and posters for events. I would learn great group skills.
I currently participate with my college's CPP program working with Georgia Drug Prevention in limiting the drug use amongst college students in the Atlanta area. I am currently serving as the Liaison with my Co-Liaison being Hadija Primus. Together we handle funding and hosting events to fundraise and gain interest in the program.
